More Excitement Coming Soon!

In April, look for the new exhibit by inmates of the Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women. Dr. Kelly Berwager, a Kelly Art Associate, has been teaching an art class there and is organizing a display called “Roots of Hope.” Any money from sales will go to supplies for the art program.

Additionally, the Kelly Art Associates have a “4×6” day on April 6, offering tiny painted treasures for just $46

After the prisoners’ exhibit comes the Elmore County high schools’ exhibit. The Kelly gives a $1000 college scholarship to a graduating senior planning to major in an art-related area. Area art teachers have the information, and it’s also available on line

Money for the scholarship comes from a special Sylvia McConnell Education fund–donations gratefully accepted! You can also purchase a numbered Kelly Fitzpatrick print; proceeds go to the scholarship fund.

Sylvia was a founder of The Kelly and a beloved teacher of 100s of grateful students and parents. Her entire family has been supportive of The Kelly.
