Introduction to MACHINE PIECING: tips on choosing fabrics, using rotary cutter and ruler, piecing squares, rectangles and half-square triangles, and pressing. Students will make two basic quilt blocks. (Bring sewing machine with new needle, pins, scissors and optionally, any specific fabrics or threads though irons and a selection of fabric and thread will be furnished).
Suitable for ages 12 + —beginners welcome!
