TWK Adds a New Dimension

Just as a painting is an organized collection of colors in space, music is an organized collection of tones in time. The two mediums are similar in being unique, emotional, expressionist, memorable and often pleasing. The Kelly specifically deals with visual art, but this week’s Tuesday with Kelly reaches out to a different dimension. Burgin Matthews, radio host and director of the non-profit Southern Music Research Center will be the speaker. He has a book on Birmingham Jazz due to be published soon.

Come at noon on Tuesday, April 17, for a quick hour. Bring a sack lunch, but dessert and a drink are provided. It’s a great time to learn something new while visiting with old friends.
