Description

This is a mixed media piece made from acrylic paint, ink, a yellowed crossword puzzle book, gel-prints, a sanding block, and all manner of bits and bobs of paper. It depicts a moment in my mother’s kitchen where I frequently sat at the table with my parents to share the day’s events. My parents have since both passed away and although I can no longer enjoy an afternoon visit with them, my art allows me to revisit this experience time and time again.
