We’re looking for artists and volunteers to help with the HUGE Wildlife Festival in November.
Jennifer Eifert (our new Executive Director–did you see that post?) is looking for fabulous art for the Art Gone Wild exhibit by August 1st. During the festival, we want some artists willing to paint outside and attract tourists. Save the date, November 5. All of Wetumpka is participating in art, sports, sales, etc. It’ll be HUGE!!
Also, we are looking for high-quality artistic vendors in or outside of the tents for the festival, 10-4, that one day. This event will be attracting tourists from all over the state and beyond, so it’s a good bet for sales, especially during the month before Christmas.
Alyssa Spaulding (the new Assistant to the Director) is compiling lists for volunteers. We still need willing workers to help man or woman the gallery, and we’ll need extra help on the day of the festival. So many things will be happening that day, thanks much to the backing of the Smoot Harris family
