Art Associates Gather Speed

Chatting over a charcuterie tray from our friends at Provisions, the Art Associates of The Kelly met in March to discuss some potential activities. It was generally agreed that they would enjoy having a loosely organized Studio Day once a month to get together to exchange ideas and create, i.e., paint or draw. Another idea was to have some evening talks by well-known local artists to discuss tips and techniques.

At the moment, we have just over 20 Art Associates, each allowed to bring 4 items to hang, which gives The Kelly nearly 100 works for sale on top of the exhibits, with 25% of any proceeds helping pay Kelly bills. They also are speeding up to put more items ON LINE. You can order their works on line and pick up at the gallery. Prices vary from under $50 to over $500, and there are currently a few items on sale as well.
