Portrait of Kelly Fitzpatrick (with pipe)

TWK Time Travels

Out of the ashes of time, The Kelly arose like a phoenix just over ten years ago. Named for the prominent local artist and grandson of a governor who lived in Wetumpka, The Kelly Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery began to grow from its roots in the community. With the work of literally 100’s of donors and volunteers, it has become a thriving non-profit art center, now christened The Kelly Fitzpatrick Center for the Arts.

Tuesday with Kelly on Tuesday, June 18, will feature board members who can speak to the early history of The Kelly and how it’s progressed. Get a tour of the present facilities, so ably designed by the board’s own Beth Coleman, Interior Decorator. Come take the time to see all the exquisite paintings in the current Rivers and Bridges exhibit and admire all the details of the newly renovated building.

As usual, meet at noon, bring a sack lunch, and The Kelly will provide a beverage and dessert. This is free and open to all on every third Tuesday. Come enjoy the BEST VIEW in WETUMPKA
