TWK Apr 19 – Beading with Marilyn

Marilyn Winborn will share her artistic beaded jewelry at Tuesday with Kelly on April 19, 12-1. Bring a lunch. The Kelly will provide a beverage and dessert.

Art comes in many shapes and forms and uses all sorts of mediums. Artist Marilyn Winborn chooses to use her collection of unusual African trade beads as the inspiration for her beaded jewelry creations. She strings and wraps in original ways and likes to add semi-precious stones.

Her elaborate designs are then made into necklaces and earrings, some very colorful.

Have you ever seen earrings made from coyote teeth? Umm–maybe not, but Marilyn has made them. What a marvelous conversation-starter!!

Marilyn has joined The Kelly in the past for the Tulotoma Art Trail. We welcome her back as a speaker and look forward to seeing if some are for sale!
