Description
“He’s known as daddy to me, but in the real world from 1940 to 1945, he was Sergeant Tech 4 Jesse Lee Jackson. Dad and his brother Morris Jackson both served in World War II. He served as a gem specialist for radio frequencies, the main communications of the World War. I proudly say my dad was of the greatest generation ever. I painted Heart of America in memory of my dad, because he loved his country till the day he died. He was honored by the playing of Taps, and I received the American flag that rested on his casket.”
