East Bound is an Oil painting inspired by a photograph I took years ago. I’ve been an artist from childhood and loved classic cars just as long. One Saturday morning in the small town of Pine Apple Alabama, I had Mr. Bennett bring his 29 Ford down to the parking lot in front of City Hall to photograph. I took many shots. As he was leaving I looked up and he was waiting to get back on Hwy 10. It was like looking back in time. I threw up the camera quickly and got the shot, I knew this would make a good painting.
