Class Supplies:
- Canvas and/or Panels:
“I prefer an oil-primed linen like Centurion Oil Primed Deluxe Linen panels, but bring whatever you like to paint on. I also do a lot of skies on gessoboard or on birch panels that have been primed with a few coats of gesso, too. If you want to paint a larger canvas (no larger than 16×20), one will be fine. If you paint smaller paintings, you may be able to complete a couple during class (around 8×10, 9×12, 11×14). Also, please have a small (8×10) inexpensive canvas just to use for exercises.”
- Brushes and palette knives:
“I like Silver Bristlon flats in a variety of sizes. If you want to paint smaller canvases, have a few small-medium brushes. Medium-large brushes for larger canvas.”
