While the Community Market, for which The Kelly runs a free kids’ craft table, is on summer hiatus, Director Jennifer is scheduling some new activities.
Already, just after the Grand Opening, there was a special kids’ opening with about 15 children and more adults. Coming soon will be special free art lessons for the wee ones, kindergarten and under, called Art Start. There are always crayons and pictures for them to color. (However, this is NOT a babysitting service; each child must have an adult companion.)
On July 27, a free after-school art lesson in watercolor will be held for older students, 4-5 p.m. This is called “Kelly’s Kids Town.” Watch for more details.
As The Kelly settles into its new location, there will be more classes scheduled for both kids and adults. Keep an eye out; you can always check the calendar or call for more information.
