Gallery Amasses Funds

While Kelly members have heard of the very generous donations The Kelly has received, such as those from the Smoot-Harris family, Alabama Power, the Wind Creek Casino/Hotel and many others (see sponsor list ), many do not realize the income we’ve also garnered from commissions and sales in the gallery. During the week of the Wetumpka Wildlife Arts Festival alone, sales mounted up to about $16,000.

While the Christmas Artists Market was not as lucrative as last year, it brought in about $9000. It also attracted more than a dozen new Art Associates, with the current number being 45, twice as many as last year. Almost every one of them sold something at the Market, and many people went home with unique and beautiful gifts–well, certainly diverse! Below are just a few that sold:
