The Folks: Experiencing Visions of Self-Taught Southern Artists

The Folks: Experiencing Visions of Self-Taught Southern Artists

Exhibition Open: May 21, 2021
Exhibition Closed: August 25, 2021

The Kelly Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery invites you to join us in celebrating the self-taught, the outsider, the natural artist.  Art is an expression of what it means to be human, and it belongs to everyone.  So, we are focusing on those artists who are not academically trained for this exhibit, because there is a space in the art world for everyone.  We invite you to join us to participate as we salute the works of the self-taught artists of the southeast.

The Folks Exhibition opens May 21st, 2021, and The Kelly’s gallery is open Thursday and Friday from 1:00 to 6:00 and Saturday from 12:00 – 5:00.  Please come to our new gallery at 124 Company Street.

The Grand Opening of the new gallery will be from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. on May 21, 2021 with the receptions on that same day from 4:00 – 6:00. The Folks Exhibition will be open through August 25, 2021.
