Next Tuesday, May 17, Tuesday with Kelly is lucky to have renowned artist Clint Herring as a speaker. He joins us from his art studio in Auburn. His exquisite works are not oil, as most would guess on viewing them, but they are utterly gorgeous watercolors done with tremendous skill and detail.
Herring’s work has become celebrated in the Southeast as it is represented at many well-known galleries. Noted also for his portraits and architecture, he loaned The Kelly some of his graceful ballerinas, which he paints from many perspectives–front, back and even uniquely from above–truly appreciating their forms in action and their delicacy in details.
Come enjoy his talk at noon. Bring a lunch; The Kelly provides a beverage and dessert. This is a community event open to all–no charge.
