AUG 16–Tuesday With Kelly welcomes speaker Joel Sidney Kelly, Portraiteur. Come at noon and bring a lunch–we have sangria as well as water and dessert–one hour to learn and munch. His portrait of “Savannah” says it all. (Notice her toes!)
AUG 23–It begins….”Kelly and Friends,” a new exhibit with historic details about the marvelous Dixie Art Colony artists, including Wetumpka’s own Kelly Fitzpatrick.
AUG 25– Reception for “Kelly and Friends,” sponsored by Alabama Power Foundation, 5:30-8 p.m.
AUG 26–Get your hat ready for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Dress up to celebrate Tim Burton with the rest of Wetumpka–you know he directed Big Fish, filmed in Wetumpka.
AUG 27–Village Artists Downtown Art Show, up and down Company Street, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
