Best View in Wetumpka

If you didn’t join us on Sunday, February 18, 2-4, at the New Kelly’s renovation-in-process, you will be amazed at how wonderful the building is going to be. It is spacious beyond our wildest imaginings with dedicated museum store, workshop, office and kitchen. Probably the most exciting, though, is that it has the “BEST VIEW IN TOWN!”

Without question, the massive plate glass windows and roomy back porch overlooking the Coosa and the Bibbs Grave Bridge offer a spectacular view. It’s sure to be THE meeting place for sunset receptions, parties and weddings as well as our magnificent exhibits.

If you missed the open house, you need to at least drive by and see how you can look right through the building to see the bridge. Walls are going up, electricity going in, and finishing is being done. Right now, we are hoping to be in during April. Everyone, cross your fingers and toes, and maybe your eyes, too, for a swift opening because it’s going to be GREAT!

Thanks to all our many sponsors, our busy board members, our active volunteers and Director Jennifer Eifert and her able cohort Alyssa Spaulding, we are creating a Center for the Arts that will shine as one of the best in Alabama!
