Description

This is a mixed media piece made from acrylic paint, ink, yellowed newspapers, gel-prints, and any other bits and bobs of paper I find. It depicts a moment in my mother’s kitchen where I frequently drank a cup of coffee with my parents while we shared the day’s events. My parents have since both passed away and although I can no longer share what was an afternoon staple with them, my art allows me to revisit this experience time and time again.
