Are You Fantasizing and Getting Wild?

If you’re an artist, you SHOULD be! The Kelly’s next open exhibit is coming in July, with entries due June 8. Are you ready for “Fantasy and Fiction”? If not, time is getting short. We hear there be dragons amongst us, but we’re equally open to werewolves, fairies and UFOs, not to mention all the delicious possibilities in fictional landscapes and characters. Just what do your dream of? Do you have a dream castle?

Please remember that The Kelly opens its arms to amateurs and professionals with no fee for entries. Selections will be based on space available. Any sales will have 25% deduction for a donated commission, and we ask that artists leave their work for approximately 90 days after the take-in date (July 29). Then it’ll be time to really let go and get WILD with The Kelly’s Annual Wetumpka Art Gone Wild. This is a combination exhibit and Alabama Wildlife Federation/LIV Development contest with very specific rules and very big prizes, so be sure to see the prospectus on the same page as the other exhibit. September will be here before we know it. There are also vendor opportunities for this huge Wetumpka celebration, so help spread the word.
