DESCRIPTION:Introduction to MACHINE PIECING: tips on choosing fabrics\, using rotary cutter and ruler\, piecing squares\, rectangles and half-square triangles\, and pressing. Students will make two basic quilt blocks. (Bring sewing machine with new needle\, pins\, scissors and optionally\, any specific fabrics or threads though irons and a selection of fabric and thread will be furnished). \nSuitable for ages 12 + —beginners welcome!

Fabric\, cotton batting and thread for a small flag hot pad are included. (Bring sewing machine with new needle\, pins\, scissors\, seam ripper and optionally\, any specific fabrics or threads desired.) \nSuitable for ages 12 +. \nBeginners are welcome\, but QUILTING 101 is recommended first for absolute beginners.
