Mr. Lewis is a member of the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts\, the National Center for the Study of Civil Rights and African-American Culture at Alabama State University\, and he was The Kelly’s first African-American member. Mr. Lewis grew up in Montgomery\, attended Brooker T Washington\, graduated from Jefferson Davis High School\, and studied Theater Arts at Huntingdon College. He recently retired from the Alabama Personnel Department. It’s sure to be a wonderful TWK\, so don’t miss it!

DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of the year again already for our annual member’s party.  This year\, The Kelly invites all our current members of any level to join us at Lanark NaturePlex for a night celebrating YOU! \nThe Alabama Wildlife Federation (AWF) is the oldest and largest non-profit conservation organization in Alabama.  We are proud to have AWF as a sponsor and supporter of Art Gone Wild and the Wetumpka Wildlife Arts Festival\, and we are grateful that they will host this party for us at their NaturePlex\, which serves as their 23\,000 square foot Welcome and Education Center.  But tonight we will fill it with food\, drinks\, laughter\, and even upcoming announcements!  We have so much to exciting news to share with you\, so we will also have a small Town Hall Meeting to keep you up-to-date on important changes (like the new building) and get your input on proposed changes. \nDress:  In keeping with our wildlife theme\, we encourage our members to dress comfortably and outdoorsy.  Wear your best denim\, animal print\, flannel\, or camouflage!
