DESCRIPTION:Painting Cows in Oils with Alisa Beck \nDive into the world of oil painting in this 3-day workshop with artist Alisa Beck. This class is designed for beginner to intermediate level painters looking to paint cows in the landscape. Their unique hide patterns offer fantastic opportunities for texture and color study. Often found outdoors in pastures\, cows are ideal for capturing the effects of natural light on their form. Artists can explore the rich variations in the whites\, blacks\, browns\, and reds of their coats as sunlight hits them. \nWhat You’ll Learn: You will master the fundamentals of working with oil paint\, including mixing\, blending\, and layering. We’ll explore essential concepts like composition\, value\, and color theory\, and develop techniques for translating a photo reference into a finished painting with confidence.
