And this June\, the Watercolor Society of Alabama will honor us with a homecoming art exhibition! \nThe Kelly will host the 83rd National Exhibition for the Watercolor Society\, and these artworks are AMAZING! Please join us for a mix of truly amazing contemporary talent as well as historical artworks from our mutual Dixie Art Colony origins. \nABOUT THE WATERCOLOR SOCIETY OF ALAMABA\n“Watercolor Society of Alabama (WSA) began in 1939 with an exciting vision to promote\, create and inspire painters in the art of watercolor media. They embrace that vision by holding juried watercolor competitions each year: WSA Annual National Exhibition\, Statewide Alabama Members Showcase\, and Online Showcase. The WSA has been a continuing and vibrant influence in advancing the art of watercolor painting and has contributed to the enrichment of the cultural environment of the citizens of the State of Alabama. The society is one of the oldest major watercolor organizations in the nation.
