Practice “fussy cutting” and sewing a few rows of curvy “apple cores.” An “apple core” template and measurements for varying quilt sizes provided along with scraps for a little “charm” quilt suitable for a pillow covering. DESCRIPTION:MACHINE QUILTING and BINDING. Make a flag hot pad—piece\, quilt\, and bind it and make a hanging loop. (Or students may quilt a block of their choice\, such as the two from 101 class.) Fabric\, cotton batting and thread for a small flag hot pad are included. (Bring sewing machine with new needle\, pins\, scissors\, seam ripper and optionally\, any specific fabrics or threads desired.) \nSuitable for ages 12 +. \nBeginners are welcome\, but QUILTING 101 is recommended first for absolute beginners.
